What's new, what's changed, what's coming soon. Before you visit, check here for news of changes to the displays.
Back on display are two large-scale paintings. Cave 1990 is a mysterious abstract work by the recently deceased British painter Prunella Clough. New York by Scottish figurative artist Jock McFadyen is a dazzling view from the Empire State Building.
These replace three photographic works by international artists Thomas Demand, James Casebere and Jorge Sasse recently acquired through the Contemporary Art Society. Two are currently on loan to the exhibition Out of Place at Walsall Art Gallery.
The Marshmallow Sofa and Platform Bench by George Nelson are having a well-earned rest after four years on public display.
If you are coming to the Gallery to see a particular favourite, do please check these pages or phone us on 0161 235 8888 to make sure it is on display.
We make changes to the displays when works of art are loaned out to other museums and galleries, or when we want to make room to show you something new.
