Take a break with a visit to our gallery restaurant and cafe.

Great tasting food begins with great ingredients, and whenever we can, we source them locally, within season. We prepare everything from scratch everyday too.

In our restaurant you can choose from a selection of freshly made sandwiches and salads, home made soup, hot main courses, desserts, cakes and pastries as well as a wide range of hot and cold drinks.

The restaurant

Our menu has some great dishes like fish and chips and a Bury black pudding brunch, which are served daily, cooked fresh upon order and brought to your table within a short space of time.

We also run a specials menu daily, which always features one meat dish, one fish dish and one vegetarian dish. View a sample menu containing examples of our daily specials.

Children can also enjoy the delight of freshly cooked dishes with our children's menu. This includes home made salmon fish fingers, with oven roasted chips and garden peas. All of our children's hot meals come with a complimentary drink.

We also offer a deal on a children's lunch box, where you can get five items from our children's cold selection for £3.90. For example, you could get a sandwich, piece of fruit, drink, something sweet and a packet of mini cheddars. All for £3.90 so it's a great deal!

We pride ourselves on sourcing local ingredients where possible, and we guarantee you will love our traditional English sausages, from Styal Meats, just south of the City Centre, which are served on both our adults and children's menu.

The Cafe

In our smaller, more informal, cafe, enjoy a freshly baked morning croissant with freshly ground coffee. Or perhaps, after spending a few hours enjoying the gallery's collections, relax for afternoon tea with our home made scones, served with home made jam and clotted cream.

The cafe also serves a range of sandwiches, cakes and pastries, snacks and hot and cold drinks.
