We value the generous support of all our patrons and recognise what their support allows us to achieve. Support from our patrons enables us to:
- Mount world-class temporary exhibitions
- Care for, add to and present our significant designated collections
- Deliver an extensive learning programme to children, young people and life long learners
- Maintain our offer as one of the most important regional galleries in the country
Dr Susan. M. Brown, one of our Patrons, says:

I've gained so much from becoming more involved: getting to know the Curators, obtaining valuable advice on developing my own small collection of art, participating in major exhibitions, attending wonderful opening nights and special events, enjoying "behind-the scene" visits to private London galleries, that it seemed only right to contribute to the ongoing success of this celebrated Manchester institution.
